Principal's Message
"Welcome to Westfields Sports High School
I am delighted to welcome you to Westfields Sports High School, where we create a supportive and inclusive environment that enables every student to thrive. Our students aim to be safe, respectful learners with a strong sense of community—principles that guide and inspire everything we do.
We take great pride in our dedicated staff and the strong partnerships we foster with families. Together, we ensure our students feel valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their personal best. Remarkably, approximately 20 of our staff members are proud alumni of Westfields Sports High School. This reflects the exceptional mentoring and nurturing culture within our school, inspiring many former students to return and contribute to the public education workforce. Our diverse staff bring a wealth of talents and rich teaching experiences that enhance learning both inside and beyond the classroom.
As the first sports high school established in Australia, Westfields Sports High School proudly holds a unique and respected position in sporting education. We are an official Olympic Pathway school, committed to supporting and developing elite student-athletes as they strive to reach the highest levels of academic and athletic excellence.
Our students are not only outstanding in their sporting pursuits but also serve as strong, visible leaders in the wider community. They actively represent our school at various community events and initiatives. We celebrate our robust community connections, the many family links that enrich our school culture, and the ongoing achievements of our alumni who continue to make a positive impact far beyond our gates.
Thank you for visiting our website. I warmly invite you to explore and learn more about the opportunities and achievements that make Westfields Sports High School a remarkable place to learn, grow, and succeed."
