Students should endeavor to be at school on time, every day.
If a student is late they must:
- Report to the Late Window, Administration Office, A Block, with their ID Card
- Receive a late slip from the Late Window
- Show their late slip to the classroom teacher on arriving to class
Students must ensure they have their ID Cards to sign on late.
Replacement ID Cards are available from Miss Freeman, Administration Office, B Block, at a cost of $10.00.
Students with chronic lateness will be placed on a Lateness Card.
School Lateness Policy
- Students who arrive late to school will be issued with a detention at recess for the time that they were late
- Students who arrive late to school on two (2) occasions in a week, will be issued with a Negative Referral
- Students who arrive at school late on three (3) occasions in a week, will be issued with an Afternoon School Detention
- Students with chronic lateness patterns will be placed on a lateness card and parent interviews may be conducted
- Students who fail to sign on late with their ID Cards on four (4) occasions will be placed on an Afternoon School Detention
