- Practical Skills Test in Term 1: Weighting = 50% of Semester 1
- Semester 1 Examination in Term 2: Weighting = 50% of Semester 1; Includes Scientific World and Living Organisms
- Research Assignment in Term 3: Weighting = 50% of Semester 2
- Semester 2 Examination in Term 4: Weighting = 50% of Semester 2; includes The Water Cycle, Energy and Forces
