COURSE DESCRIPTION
International Studies is a 200 hour course offered over Years 9 and 10. It is a school content developed course.
International Studies allows students to explore the food, traditions, clothing, businesses, laws, sport and the heritage of countries within Australia and around the world. There is a focus on our Asian Neighbours and on relationships between countries on a global scale.
The aim of the course is to provide all students with the opportunity to widen their knowledge and understanding of people from cultures different to their own so they can become active and productive members of all the communities they belong to now and in the future.
