Code of conduct

This code of conduct applies to all students, parents, teachers, officials and spectators when attending events coordinated on behalf of the NSW Department of Education.

Westfields Sports High School may impose disciplinary measures on an individual for breach of this code of conduct. Any disciplinary measure imposed will be consistent with the NSW Department of Education policy.

Code of conduct - Excursions

At all times students who represent Westfields Sports High School should:

• cooperate with teachers, fellow students and members of the general public
• not participate in the consumption of alcohol, cigarettes/vapes and/or illegal or performance enhancing drugs. The latter are not accepted in the normal school environment and therefore will not be tolerated at any time throughout your period of representation.

Code of conduct - Sport

At all times studentswho represent Westfields Sports High School at events must:

• cooperate with coaches, team mates, and opponents
• work equally hard for themselves and their team
• compete by the rules and always abide by the referee's / umpire's decision
• be a good sport and encourage fellow team members to also be good sports
• control their temper. Make no criticism either by word or gesture
• discuss the team's expected Code of Behaviour with team management
• not participate in the consumption of alcohol, cigarettes/vapes and/or illegal or performance enhancing drugs. The latter are not accepted in the normal school environment and therefore will not be tolerated at any time throughout your period of representation.

At all times parents and spectators who attend events coordinated by the NSW Department of Education must:

• model respectful behaviours. Be respectful of official's decisions, and encourage other parents and spectators to do the same
• abide by the NSW Department of Education policy of a smoke and alcohol free environment
