MED ENTRY
This program offers 2 day workshops to help students prepare for the UMAT Test and develop interview skills. These are a compulsory part of the application process for Medicine courses. Details at www.MedEntry.edu.au
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME – EARLY OFFER PROGRAM
The University has an early offer program which assesses students on the basis of academic excellence combined with a special talent in community involvement or leadership. Applications close on 31 August. More details available from careers office.
ATAR BONUS POINTS
Students may be eligible for a number of allowances which will affect their entry requirements.
UWS Regional Bonus Points
All Westfields students will automatically receive 5 bonus points when they apply for a UWS course (excluding Medicine and Music) because they attend school in the Western Sydney region. No separate application needed.
Subject Bonus
All Universities recognise performance in Year 12 subjects relevant to the courses for which you have applied. Some have formal bonus points schemes while others consider students individually. Details at www.uac.edu.au/undergraduate/atar/bonuses.shtml

EDUCATIONAL ACCESS SCHEMES
These schemes are for students who've experience long term educational disadvantage due to circumstances beyond their control which has seriously affected their educational performance. (eg. Financial, medical, family situation) Further details at www.uac.edu.au/undergraduate/eas
ELITE ATHLETICS AND/OR PERFORMERS
If you are an elite athlete or performer (state level or higher) and believe that your training and/or competitive commitments may have affected your HSC results you can apply for special consideration. Details from the careers office.
AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT NATIONAL PARTNERSHIP SCHOOL PROGRAM
All Westfields students will automatically be credited with bonus points under EAS criteria. No separate application needed.
UAC NEWS
All students applying for University should sign up for Directions which is the newsletter for the Universities Admissions Centre. Go to www.uac.edu.au to register. Material from directions has been attached to the print version of this newsletter.
CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS CADETSHIP EVENING
