Westfields Sports's Learning Support & Learning Centre Teams
The Learning Support and Learning Centre teams at Westfields Sports aim to facilitate and coordinate a whole school approach to improve the education support to identified students.
We monitor each student's progress and provide additional learning support if this is required.
Our school uses learning programs and specialised staff where needed and we work in partnership with parents and carers to assist students who have special learning needs.
Our school is committed to working with Aboriginal parents and community members in developing personalised plans for our Aboriginal students.
Every year, all schools in Australia are required to participate in the National Collection of Consistent Data on school students with a learning and or support need under the legislative Disability Act 1992 and Disability Standards for Education 2005.
The NCCD process requires schools to identify students and report on the level of support provided. The information is all confidential.
