Expectations
As a student/player who will be representing Westfields Sports and playing under the auspices of the rules and regulations of the relevant sporting association, you must meet the following requirements in regard to your conduct at school and during any such activity or event :
1. Abide by the school rules and play by the rules associated with each specific sport
2. Attend school and all other school related commitments regularly (attendance / punctuality rates below 85% may result in being made ineligible to represent Westfields Sports)
3. Set an example worthy of being followed both on and off the field. At all times be an ambassador for Westfields Sports High. (Breaches of the school's discipline policy may result in being made ineligible to represent Westfields Sports or in being withdrawn from the Talented Sport Program)
4. At all times work and perform to the best of your ability (repeated failure to complete school work, homework and assessment tasks may result in being made ineligible to represent Westfields Sports until the outstanding work is completed)
5. Never argue with a teacher, coach or official. Be cooperative at all times
6. Control your temper. Verbal abuse of officials, sledging other players or deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent is not acceptable or permitted behaviours in any sport.
7. Care for and respect the equipment provided to you as part of your program.
8. Be frank and honest with your coach concerning illness and injury and your ability to train fully within the program requirements.
9. Work equally hard for yourself and/or your team. Your team's performance will benefit and so will you.
10. Be a good sport. Applaud all good plays whether your team or the opposition makes them
11. Treat all fellow students and participants in your sport as you like to be treated. Do not bully or take unfair advantage of other students or competitors.
12. Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit, not just to please your parents and coaches.
13. Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

I have read carefully this Code of Conduct, and accept responsibility for complying with it in all respects. I also agree and understand that sanctions may be imposed on myself should I breach any aspect of the Codes. These may include:
• warnings, either verbal or in writing,
• ejection from the field of play/stadium/courts,
• a suspension imposed by the school,
• expulsion from the Talented Sport Program at Westfields Sports and/or legal proceedings.
I agree that while participating in any sporting events (including training sessions) undertaken by Westfields Sports, I will adhere to the regulations and rules of the school and specific sporting association as they apply to me:
1. I will act respectfully and responsibly toward team mates, opposition players, coaches, teachers, club officials and other spectators of all teams. Abusive, insulting and offensive language or actions are unacceptable.
2. I will respect and follow the reasonable directions of coaching staff, teachers, umpires/referees and club administrators.
3. I will respect the facilities and equipment of Westfields Sports and any clubs which may be utilised by the school or opposing teams.
4. I understand that verbal abuse and violent behaviour towards any player, coach, teacher, umpire/referee or club official or other spectator is at all times unacceptable and would make me liable to serious consequences (as is any sexual, racial and other form of harassment)
I, (Student Name), as a student/player enrolled at Westfields Sports, acknowledge that I have read and agree to comply with the above Code of Conduct. I accept that breaches of the Codes carry consequences which may result in my expulsion from the Talented Sports Program at Westfields Sports.
