2017 NSW Schools Relays Championships
Congratulations to our 17 relay teams that contested the 2017 NSW Schools Relays at SOPAC on Wednesday 23rd August. 11 teams set new school and/or club records. The most impressive of which was the Girls U15 4x100m relay (Alizart Lolohea, Brown, Adeniran) breaking a record that has stood since 1993 (24 years). The existing record of 52.1 at the time in 1993 was a new NSW record. Our 2017 team set the new record at 51.73. In the 26 year history of the Westfields Athletics Club only 4 female teams of any age have run faster. Even more impressive was the fact that only one of the girls was actually under 15 (Alexandra), the other three were 13 (Shola), 12 (Claudia) and 12 (Latecia). Click the link below for results:
